Product Owner - wendyIt is similar to a diver's wet suit. Soft and flexible foam about 3/8" thick with a knitted fabric cover. It does get pretty wet. Really provided the extra support my somewhat physically unbalanced dog needed to enjoy a day IN the water retrieving. What is the buoyancy on these? How many pounds does it float?

Verified Reply - stefThe upper limit of the dog weight recommendation is the accepted limit of the pounds they would float. For instance, the smallest one says 12-24 weight, so it would be safe to say that it would float 24 pounds. However, the vendor literature extends each vest by about 6 pounds of buoyance for extra safety.Was this answer helpful to you
