The UM725GBT is the first marine radio to offer Bluetooth wireless text messaging using your smart phone to text with a similarly capable marine VHF radio. You and your crew will enjoy the privacy of texting boat-to-boat, rather than broadcasting over your radio for all the boats in your area to hear.
