Superlative binoculars for terrestrial use too!
I obtained my first set back in 2007. I make extensive use of the compass and reticle. After years of "pampered" but moderate outdoor use I sent it in for refurbishing. While there for several week I contacted Philip in customer service asking a status on them as I was going to Africa in the near fu...

Overpriced junk
Eye cup broke second day. Sent them in for repair and the other cup broke a few days after that. In for repair again. Manufacturer said this was typical and warned me that I should get a floating strap as the clips often fail too. one broke soon after. I gave up and returned them. In two months I go...

My small dream to purchase it !
It too big and heavy, but it is not a problem for me, because my small dream comes true for long times ago I have. Very convinient becauase no need to focus.
Exactly what I wanted.
These binoculars are not cheap, but you are getting what you are paying for. The optics are superb, and the compass works very well. I highly recommend these, and am glad I spent the money.
Best binoculars I've ever used
The quality of this set of binoculars is beyond what I expected. The clarity is amazing. The lens coatings are something you can't even imagine. They say they resist fingerprints, normally I would never touch the lens but I had to try it out. They feel oddly slick weird feeling even but they left no trace of a fingerprint. I'm glad to have a binocular that will last as long as I do and beyond.
Stellar product and service!
Bought my Commander 7x50c binoculars a short time ago and discovered that the Clic-Lok didn't securely engage so sent them in for a look. Less than a week later had a new pair with all accessories delivered to my door. As for the binoculars themselves, I couldn't be happier with anything about them; superior quality everything. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but I've always said that if you pay a higher price for what you really want/need, it only hurts once, but if you pay a lower price for an inferior product, it hurts every time you think about it.
