Replaced aerator that had broken off leaving a hole in the bottom of boat. Don't know how well it works but it fit perfectly and stopped the leaking.

How does this aerator run? Im wanting something that I don't have to charge into a 12volt battery or into a 120 receptacle. I'm looking for something that I can put batteries into the product and to beable to throw the aerator in the tank with the fish. and also for it to run up to 24+ hours on battery life.
