Bought the 800 gph square Rule bilge pump from West Marine. Have 6 ft of 3/4" id corrugated bilge hose attached and a vertical lift of 30" to the thru hull. The pump will not push water out the thru hull. Not enough pump?
- Asked by Gentry
- Verified Reply - RyanAt 40.2" of lift, this unit is still rated to pump 615 GPH. There must be some other issue impacting the ability of the pump to discharge water. Please check the owner's manual following the link I provide. There are several things Rule identifies that are critical for the pump to work properly. http://newcontent.westmarine.com/documents/pdfs/OwnersManuals/PLUMBING/BILGE_PUMPS/950-0518.pdfWas this answer helpful to you
